The Art of Getting Projects Unstuck: When our good friend at Marriott called and said her project team was stuck in place and couldn’t seem to get several projects off the ground, we were invited in to see what we might do to help.
It went something like this…
The Art of Getting Project Teams Working Together: The Sales and Marketing team had several great ideas concerning the launch of a brand new initiative for Marriott ExecuStay. The Operations group had some critical needs that had to be addressed before they would even listen to the ideas. The Vice President of Marketing & Communications knew the big picture and what HAD to be done to keep this brand growing and thriving. The entire team tried several times to get on the same page, with the same result…a standstill. The team was stuck. They all were hoping someone would hear and rescue them.
The Art of Getting Success: When project teams get stuck, we get going. Result? National growth, market awareness, and major attractiveness to an eventual purchaser who acquired the brand, allowing Marriott to direct their resources to their newest brand, Moxy, a budget Millennial chain for Europe.
We know that our specialized brand projects, including vehicle and van wraps, guest information guides, ads, brochures, rack cards, and trade show graphics really got this team unstuck and now Marriott executives tell the best stories! Enjoy!
I wanted to let you know that last week Marriott ExecuStay won an award at our industry association’s annual meeting. Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) chose MES for the most Creative Marketing program. What we submitted for consideration was the Test Drive a City promo including the Spirit ad. Adam came back from Houston with a beautiful award for the office. We are delighted, of course. Thought you might like to know.
